About the Old Devils

The team is from London, Ontario, Canada. The reason for the prefix of North is due to the fact that most of the team, when originally formed, came from the North London Men’s Monday Night Hockey League.

Back in the late 70’s, Bob Kendal wanted to start an Old Timers team. His call to arms was answered by a strange bunch of fellows, who thought they were hockey players. But in reality were just a group of guys who like to have fun and this fact is one of the reasons the club has lasted for so long.

The Old Devils were one of the first teams to participate in the Ontario SouthWestern league. In fact Bob even chaired the League for a few years.

Now, in the next millennium, the team is under going some personnel changes. Bob (Radar to most) is moving up to the big leagues (Huff & Puff) to continue his career. Although this key figure of the team is moving on, the team philosophy will remain as Bob directed.

The philosophy of the team is first and foremost to enjoy the game. For that is what it is "A Game".
